Théo Charette, M.Sc., P.Biol.
Théo is a registered Professional Biologist (PBIOL), a Qualified Aquatic Environmental Specialist (QAES) as defined in the Water Act, and a co-founder of CPP Environmental. Leading the water division, he oversees water-related technical assessments in support of regulatory applications, reclamation plans, state of the watershed reports, and special scientific projects.
Théo has over 15 years of experience in aquatic sciences and assessments, reclamation planning, and water management. His work has included project management, supervision, and participation in numerous multidisciplinary projects, including the EPEA and Water Act regulatory approval writing, aquatics reclamation, state of the watershed reports, and scientific studies. Dedicated to innovation, Théo continues to develop leading approaches in his work.
Tyler Pell, RPFT
Tyler is a Registered Professional Forest Technologist (RPFT) and a co-founder of CPP Environmental.
As Lands Manager, Tyler leads a team of environmental professionals in land management and resource development projects. He is passionate about the Sand & Gravel industry in Alberta and has worked with many clients to implement high environmental standards.
With over 20 years of experience, Tyler is a skilled and respected professional in aggregate planning, land management, and forestry. Tyler’s experience includes project management which is strengthened by his formal accreditation through PMI®.
His extensive working knowledge of Alberta’s environmental legislation and regulatory process is invaluable to CPP Environmental and its clients.
Mike Poscente, MBA, RPFT
Mike is a Registered Professional Forest Technologist (RPFT). As co-founder and president of CPP Environmental, Mike is responsible for the strategic direction of the organization and for overseeing day-to-day operations. Mike brings over 35 years of experience in land and forest management to CPP Environmental’s team. He currently specializes in the development of environmental management systems and the evaluation of natural resource policy and programs. He also serves as a senior lands advisor and negotiator for multiple clients.
His extensive background includes environmental impact assessments, resource allocation, regulatory applications, regulatory reviews, regulatory approvals, reclamation, and natural resources policy formulation throughout a wide range of industrial sectors.
